A leading brewery based in the Midlands is seeking a packaging manager to join their team based within the operations department. The packaging manager plays an essential part in the development, sourcing and assessment of suitable packaging materials. My client, a firmly established market leader is recruiting for a New Business Development Director to head the Business Development Team.

The successful packaging manager will have previous experience in a science or technology based discipline and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position. You will need to be able to prioritise workloads in a fast moving innovative environment.

Head of Sales - Yorkshire - Job ref 5173
£35,000 - £45,000, permanent, full time

A new and genuinely exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fun and friendly brewery as Head of Sales.

The company and team are vibrant and very passionate about what they do and have recently launched a new range of delicious ales. This ambitious brewery is now looking for a Head of Sales to enthusiastically manage the sales department. You will need to have entrepreneurial flair with a desire to win but could easily fit into their vibrant company culture.

The Head of Sales will report to the Managing Director and will be involved in the expansion of the company including development of annual sales strategies and generation of new sectors of growth.

As well as planning and implementing the sales strategy, the Head of Sales main responsibility is to drive sales across a range of accounts and channels.

Your main responsibilities will include;
•    Building and managing a sales team as revenue grows
•    Winning new business across a range of channels including retailers and wholesalers
•    Effectively utilising and analysing all key internal and external data available to optimise business results
•    Set and agree sales and profit targets for each team member
•    Manage performance of team members
•    Work with the Managing Director to agree the sales strategy
•    Act as first point of contact on sales within the business
•    Identify and develop opportunities to grow the business
•    Manage pricing and discount queries
•    Developing close but professional and productive relationships with all clients
•    Develop and maintain client specific and industry general knowledge base

Sales Manager - London - Job ref 7408
£30,000 - £35,000, permanent, full time

Our client is a young, dynamic, forward thinking brewery based in London who have recently introduced a brand new range of drinks to the UK market. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join them where you will be responsible for maintaining existing clients and developing new client relationships. You will drive the sales strategy forward. 

The successful candidate will be required to maximise sales, provide product knowledge training and implement effective professional merchandising to the highest standard, as well as ensuring the brand is visually impactful at all times. 
This is a field based role and you will ideally be based in the London area. You will be covering accounts on a national level with some office based work.

The successful candidate must have experience within the drinks industry and you must have previous sales experience. This is a ‘roll up your sleeves’ role so you will be expected to hit the ground running. 

As the Sales Manager you will be reporting to the Managing Director.

Account Manager - North West - Job ref 2486
Up to £40,000 + car, laptop & mobile, permanent, full time

Our client is a market leading brewery. They have an exciting opportunity to join their sales team where you will be responsible for managing and developing their existing client base.
The successful candidate will be required to maximise sales, provide product training and implement effective professional merchandising to the highest standard, as well as ensuring the brand is visually impactful at all times.

This is a field-based role where you will be covering the North West region. Overall you will be managing approximately 100 accounts. The role is challenging yet rewarding and some overnight stays will be required.

As an Account Manager you will report directly into the UK Sales Manager.

You will have real drive, structure, knowledge of journey planning and account management, with strong administration and communication skills. Strong merchandising skills are essential

New Business Executive - Prestwich - Job ref 5655

Trade Marketing Manager – London – Job ref 3512
Up to £45,000 per annum, permanent, full time

Our client is London’s last remaining traditional family brewery and is well known for their outstanding, delicious beers and welcoming, friendly pubs. They are a multi award winning company with an office based near a beautiful riverside in Chiswick. 

They now have a position for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager. To apply for this role you must have a minimum of 4-5 years Trade Marketing/Category experience and industry knowledge of the on and off trade is essential. The marketing department is a dynamic, hardworking fun team to be a part of. 

You will be accountable for developing and implementing marketing programs and developing retail solutions at a channel specific. Evaluating current & new trends in the market, to pro-actively influence the direction of the sales and marketing strategy, develop and execute a trade promotions plan to drive profitable growth. 

You will manage, monitor and evaluate trade marketing investments and initiatives, develop selling stories for the On & Off Trade, for NPD & existing brands, write and deliver presentations for customer meetings in the on & off trade ad to all stakeholders, generate monthly and quarterly reports which add insight and value and manage the trade marketing budget.

Head Brewer – North England – Job ref 2485

Technical Compliance Manager - Cornwall- Job ref 8517

Based in beautiful offices with a scenic view, our client is looking for a Technical Compliance Manager to be responsible for the technical legislative compliance of the brewery. They will monitor industry and legislative changes, implement as required, maintain all site standards, documents and records and ensure they are audited correctly, including robust change management procedures.

If you are a qualified Chemical Engineer with a strong technical capability around manufacturing and utilities process systems then this could be the right role for you. We require strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate with impact at all levels and experience of working with hazardous chemicals and stored energy sources typical of manufacturing operations.
